Description: The 3d documentation of the four historical remains consists of structure-from-motion photography with a Fujifilm X-T2. The documentation for the monuments at Penguin Bay (Nordenskjöld Cairn and the Uruguay Sign) was captured on February 5 2020. The boat was documented January 4 2020, and Larsen Caird was documented January 6 2020. As the remains of the boat were fragile and therefore difficult to stage in a way that prevented morphological changes between the two necessary photo sessions (thus preventing a merging of the two sides), the remains are published as two separate models; exterior and interior. The result is published as five textured meshes. The Wavefront OBJ format is open and widely used. The OBJ files in the dataset have been produced using Agisoft Metashape from structure-from-motion processing of JPEG-files. Accompanying the OBJ-file there are both JPEG texture files, and an MTL-file describing the properties of the material and the path to the texture.
